Now, first challenge for me is going for small shopping.
I have 50 in my wallet until Thursday so 3 days.
I need to go and buy bread and cat food though I presume I might buy some tzatziki and halumi cheese as well.
I am also going to charity shop to give them some clothes I don't use anymore. I love Charity shops!!!! They have so many cool stuff there. It will be big temptation for us.
Maybe I will set myself a limit of spending today half of those money....25. Then If I see something I might afford it. Will write you how it ended :)

The must spend
So i went through my goal and my income and now is time for the painful part...the bills. I have no idea if it is a lot or not but over last six months I have decreased them a lot. I don't know how much more I could go without giving up on some things I like. So lets group them:
- Rent for 2 bed apartment in the suburbs- 800/month
- Household bills:
- electricity- 70/month
- gas- depends- 50/every 2 months in summer and 150/2 months in winter.
- water- so far 65/ every 3 months but it might change when water meter will be installed
- bins- 100 once a year
3. Communication
- 2 phone's on bill pay with a lot of minutes and data, never went over unless abroad- 130/month
- TV- 50/month
- Broadband- 55/month
- TV license- 170/year
4. Car
- Tax- 200/every 3 months
- insurance 600/year
- NCT- 50/year
- fuel- at the moment without taking trips just work and shopping it is 200/month
5. Support
- We are supporting our mother's, it is necessary- 250/month
- salary protection scheme- 30/month
6. Work permit as a nurse- 100/year
Wow, now I can see all of them it is a lot.....
All the assets
Sooooo now let's explain where I stand financially. As I said before I have a well paid job as nurse manager. I earn 21,50 per hour and work 168 hours per month. I have a supplement for working Saturday 15% and Sunday 30%. I work two weekends every month. After tax I presume I will have around 2800 a month paid fortnightly.
My husband works in a factory and is on minimum wage of 8.65 per hour and works around 156 hours per month. He is not paid for breaks or have any supplements. After tax he gets around 1200 per month and is paid weekly.
Our total for our household should be around 4000 per month for 2 adults, no kids.
Do you think it is a lot??

Dreams are so far away....
So I have a lot of dreams, they change as quickly as the Irish weather, my priorities change all the time but I need to star somewhere. So I have picked one, probably the most expensive one but a long term dream. So I want to BUY A HOUSE. Well get a mortgage and to get it I need 10% of a value of the house. So I am thinking of a nice 3 bed house with nice size kitchen and living area and a good size garden. That should cost around 200,000. So what my saving goal is 20,000. It scares me it really does. How the hell I will get those money?? This is my struggle now...how to live and not just excist wile saving that money as quickly as possible. Let's start then.....
Some explanation at first
Hi!
I have a plan, a dream, one of many. I recently went through some difficult work situations and it made me think about my own "must to do" list. I will explain it to you briefly. I wanted to leave my work- it was so stressful nearly unbearable to exist in there, because all of that my health was compromised. I wanted to leave but couldn't do so because of finances. I couldn't afford of being unemployed and having no work stability. I had to pay my bills and buy food. I have suffered for 3 more weeks and went for sick leave. It has been more then a month now and I still suffer from insomnia, stress and depression.
I started thinking why a person on a good salary as a nurse manager have no savings but debts and can barely survive until next payday. I never thought I live high life but the ordinary one, i was buying a lot of things but cheap ones. I have been trying to get out of debts for more then 6 months now and when I am nearly out I fall back again.
I can understand why? What I am doing wrong?
With this blog I wanna show you my struggle of paying the debts and saving money for my dream. I wanna show you my way of finding what I am doing wrong, fighting with my own temptations.
I hope you will enjoy it...who ever you are.
